The Bucca Bar menu was created by Executive Chef Stefan Brnović, who, as one of the owners, proudly shapes our culinary vision.

At Bucca, we are dedicated to creating exceptional experiences that perfectly blend culinary artistry with wine culture. This is why each month we take you on a thematic gastronomic journey through the world’s most prestigious wine regions. Our carefully designed menus not only celebrate the best seasonal ingredients but also deepen the connection between exquisite dishes and their ideal wine pairings.

For April, our inspiration is the legendary region of California, a symbol of wine revolution and innovation. With this menu, we bring you the sophisticated flavors of a region that redefined modern gastronomy, blending the finest treasures from the Pacific coast with the bold spirit of the American West.

Chef Stefan’s focus is on precision of flavor and premium ingredients. Expect dishes such as Swordfish Carpaccio with zucchini and refreshing orange, Duck Carpaccio with mango gel and chives, as well as delicate Pork Belly served in a homemade steamed bun with coleslaw. The gastronomic journey is completed by creative Pumpkin Tacos with fish and pineapple, offering a true taste of the Pacific coast.

Each dish is an ode to balance and power, created to complement the character of wines from renowned houses such as Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars and Antica Napa Valley, creating a perfect harmony with Bucca Bar’s diverse and exciting wine list.

THE WINE

Our award-winning wine list is curated – and regularly updated – by Mike Shore (Dip. WSET) and our in-house sommelier, Aleksa Dašić.  It includes many local favourites as well as a broad selection encompassing the best wines of the region. 

The international side of the list offers accessible wines from well-known regions, exciting new discoveries, and rare vintages from regions like Bordeaux, Burgundy and Tuscany, including from highly-respected producers such as Antinori, Gaja and Vega-Siclia.

Renewed selection of wines

Every week, Bucca Wine Bar introduces a freshly curated selection of wines by the glass. This weekly rotation maintains a perfect balance between high-value house favorites and—made possible by our Coravin and EuroCave systems—the exclusive chance to sample premium and hard-to-find labels by the glass.
