The Bucca Bar menu was created by Executive Chef Stefan Brnović, who, as one of the owners, proudly shapes our culinary vision.

At Bucca, we are dedicated to creating exceptional experiences that perfectly unite culinary artistry and wine culture. That’s why every month we invite you on a themed gastronomic journey through the world’s most prestigious wine regions. Carefully crafted menus not only celebrate the best seasonal ingredients but also deepen the connection between exquisite dishes and their perfect wine pairings.

For February, our inspiration is the legendary Champagne region, the sparkling heart of northern France. With this menu, we bring you authentic flavors from a region known for its creamy sauces, noble mushrooms, and delicate culinary elegance.

Stefan’s focus is on creating sumptuous Champagne classics. Expect dishes such as Potage Champenois aux Champignons—a rich mushroom soup, Cuisse de Poulet au Vin Blanc—chicken slow-cooked in a white wine sauce, as well as Poires Pochées au Chèvre—pears poached in wine served with goat cheese.

Each dish is an ode to tradition, crafted to complement the elegance of wines such as Louis Roederer, Bollinger, and Larmandier-Bernier, creating a perfect match with Bucca Bar’s diverse and exciting wine list.

THE WINE

Our award-winning wine list is curated – and regularly updated – by Mike Shore (Dip. WSET) and our in-house sommelier, Aleksa Dašić.  It includes many local favourites as well as a broad selection encompassing the best wines of the region. 

The international side of the list offers accessible wines from well-known regions, exciting new discoveries, and rare vintages from regions like Bordeaux, Burgundy and Tuscany, including from highly-respected producers such as Antinori, Gaja and Vega-Siclia.

Renewed selection of wines

Every month, Bucca Wine Bar offers a renewed selection of wines by the glass.  This selection is always balanced between  great value house wines and – thanks to our Coravin and EuroCave systems – an opportunity to try some premium and hard-to-find wines by the glass.
